christopher cook, principal
Christopher Cook
Lead photographer on most weddings. Founded Utah Photo Co. in 2014 because he loved the challenge of a wedding day: one chance, no re-dos.
Eleven seasons in and the rules have not changed. Shoot toward the light. Trust the people in the room. Cull hard, edit lightly, ship a gallery the couple will print. Father of two, evangelist of bright exposure, and the only one allowed to argue with the editor about a crop.
Two associates, hand-picked and trained in-house.
Both shoot to the same brief, with the same gear, and ship into the same edit pass. Whichever associate is on your day, the gallery you receive looks like everything else on this site.
Hadley
Trained under Christopher for two full seasons before shooting solo. Specialty: candid family coverage and the quiet hour in the getting-ready room.
Hadley joined the studio in 2022 after three years assisting an editorial portrait studio in Denver. She shoots the Essentials and a growing share of the Classic collection. Her galleries ship through June's final edit, the same hands that pass on every Christopher wedding.
Marin
Mountain weddings and temple ceremonies. Knows every Utah light window from Temple Square to Cathedral Valley by heart.
Marin came to the studio in 2023 from a fine-art landscape background, which is exactly why we trust her with the alpine days. She covers Park City, the Uintas, and most of southern Utah. Every gallery she ships goes through the same studio edit.

June
Every gallery on this site passes through her hands for final colour, crop, and culling. The reason the whole archive reads as one book.
June joined in 2018 and quietly became the keeper of the house style. She owns the final edit on every wedding the studio ships, regardless of which photographer covered it. She is also the person who answers when you email about a timeline change at 9pm.
